Summer Athleisure I’m Wearing On Repeat
Comfy matching sets, easy dresses, and my favorite Target finds for walks, errands, and everyday life
If you’ve been following along for a bit, you know I’ve been living in comfy athleisure, mostly from Target lately, with a few pieces from Abercrombie mixed in. These pieces are so versatile for my summer lifestyle. Most days they’re exactly what I reach for when I want something easy that still feels cute. The fabrics are soft, flattering, and fun to wear, and I love that so many have built-in shorts with side pockets, practical but still feel good on.
Most of these are on sale right now, so if you’ve been wanting to refresh your everyday athleisure, this is a good time. I’ve rounded up my top picks below and how I’m wearing them right now, hope it helps if you’re looking for some easy summer outfit ideas too.
1. The Seamless Tank — My Everyday Hero
Seamless Piped Muscle Tank Top (was $20, now $17)
This tank is a staple for me. I have it in navy, green, and white. It’s the perfect mix of sporty and flattering with that cute contrast piping. The slightly cropped cut hits right at the waistband of leggings or a skort so you feel held in but not squeezed.
The ribbed seamless fabric is soft but still structured enough to hold its shape. It also layers well under a zip-up for early morning or evening walks when I’m trying to get my steps in.
2. The Matching Skort — Easy + Cute
High-Rise Seamless Skort (was $25, now $20)
I love a good matching set, mainly because it takes zero effort. This skort is high-rise with a thick waistband, built-in shorts that don’t ride up, and that same seamless stretch that easily moves with you.
I have every color because they’re that good. I throw these on for school drop-offs, errands, quick walks, gardening. I love that they’re comfy but still feel pulled together. Perfect for busy mornings or a walk after dinner. I wore it below with a polo tank, another elevated basic from Target.
3. The Active Dress — One & Done
Knit High Neck Active Dress (was $30, now $24)
This active dress has been an easy go-to for me this summer. It comes in so many colors and I have it in yellow and red. I wore the red one last weekend to the farmers market with a reversible canvas tote and it was perfect for the heat.
It’s slightly A-line so it skims over the body in the most flattering way. Runs true to size. I love throwing this on for dropping the kids off at camp, park days, or when I just want to feel a little more put together for errands.
4. Another Favorite Active Dress
YPB SculptLux Slash Wrap Mini Dress (was $80, now $56)
Not a Target find, this one is from Abercrombie, but definitely worth adding to this list. This is such a flattering dress. A bit different from the Target dress, this one has a wrap front, but does have built-in shorts (but no pockets). The SculptLux fabric holds you in but doesn’t feel tight. It’s one of those dresses that works for errands, lounging around the house or for summer vacation days (will be packing this for our Miami trip).
5. The Pleated Skort — Breezy Vibes
High-Rise Woven Pleated Skort (was $25, now $17)
This skort has more of a tennis vibe with the pleats and breezy woven fabric. It feels a little more structured but is still lightweight and easy to move in. I love it with the cropped tee below for evening walks or weekends when I’m aiming for my step goal but still want to feel cute.
6. The Soft Cropped Tee
Everyday Soft Cropped Short Sleeve T-Shirt (was $15, now $12)
A simple cropped tee is always good to have. This one hits perfectly at the waistband of your skort or leggings, so you get a flattering line without showing too much skin. I have it in the sky blue. The fabric is soft and it layers so well under that zip-up for getting those steps in after dinner. Wore in the above photo with pleated skirt.
7. The Lulu Dupe Zip-Up
Dynamic Flex Full Zip Jacket (was $38, now $32)
This zip-up is a Lululemon Define Jacket dupe. It’s lightweight, moisture-wicking, UPF 50, and comes in white and navy. I throw it on over my tank or dress for cooler mornings or evening walks when the temps drop. The perfect extra layer that still looks polished.
I stick with my true size in everything and love that these pieces feel practical for real life. Most days you’ll find me in some version of this, right now I’m in the sky blue set, whether I’m sneaking in a quick walk, running errands or gardening in the backyard.
I’ve shared a bit on Stories about my fitness routine and how I’ve been using ChatGPT to build better habits, like taking more walks, drinking more water, and doing more low-intensity workouts. Let me know if that’s something you’d like to hear more about here too.
Hope this roundup gives you some easy ideas if you’re wanting to refresh your everyday athleisure while things are still on sale!
